Tillakaratne Dilshan struck an unbeaten century to guide Sri Lanka to a seven-wicket victory under the Duckworth/Lewis method in the third one-day international against New Zealand.

Opener Dilshan finished on 102 not out and shared in an unbroken 127-run stand with Angelo Mathews, who made an unbeaten 54, as Sri Lanka passed their target of 197 off 33 overs with 11 balls remaining.

New Zealand had earlier made 188 for six from 33 overs in the rain-affected clash in Pallekele with opener BJ Watling leading the charge with an unbeaten 96.

The victory leaves Sri Lanka holding a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, with the hosts also winning match two after the opener had been abandoned.
