India seamer Sri Sreesanth could miss the one-day tri-series in Bangladesh due to an injury he sustained in the Indian Premier League semi-finals.
Sreesanth, who played for the Kings XI Punjab, strained his left side in the clash with Rajasthan Royals last week.
"MRI scans confirm that he still has some effusion in the region," the Board of Control for Cricket in India said in a statement.
Sreesanth, who was to join the India team on Saturday, instead flew to Bangalore to consult doctors at the National Cricket Academy.
"As of now, he looks doubtful for the tour and a final decision on his availability will be decided after a medical examination at the NCA," the BCCI statement added.
Pakistan, the third team in the series, will take on Bangladesh in the tournament opener in Mirpur on July 8.
