Senanayake claims maiden call-up

Sachithra Senanayake has received his first Sri Lanka call-up after fellow spinner Ajantha Mendis returned home with a back complaint
Off-spinner Sachithra Senanayake will join the Sri Lanka squad for the remainder of their one-day series with South Africa as a replacement for the injured Ajantha Mendis.
Senanayake, who has yet to represent his country, was called up after Mendis suffered a recurrence of his back injury ahead of the second ODI in East London and was forced to return home.
"Ajantha Mendis will return to Sri Lanka due to injury and will not be available for the remainder of the series. Sachitra Senanayake will leave for South Africa immediately," Sri Lanka Cricket said.
The 26-year-old has claimed 297 wickets in 59 first-class matches at an average of 20.50 and 107 scalps at 18.73 in 66 List A appearances.
Senanayake is likely to be available for the third ODI on Tuesday in Bloemfontein.
