Waqar quits as Pakistan coach

Coach Waqar Younis has announced he will stand down after Pakistan's tour of Zimbabwe, which finishes next month
Waqar Younis has resigned as Pakistan coach for personal reasons.
The 39-year-old former pace bowler will complete his duties by leading the team on their tour of Zimbabwe, which starts this week and concludes on September 18.
Waqar, who accepted the post in March 2010, told a press conference in Lahore: “I have tendered my resignation to the board last week and the tour to Zimbabwe will be my last.
“I have taken this decision on personal grounds, including medical grounds, and have no differences with anyone. My resignation has been accepted.”
Waqar's reign has been a turbulent one, with the team hit by a spot-fixing controversy last year which led to three players - Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamer - being banned.
