Warner's thumb broken
Opening batsman David Warner has been ruled out of the first two one-day internationals with West Indies after suffering a fractured thumb in the Perth nets.

David Warner feels the pain in his left thumb, which was fractured by a Mitchell Johnson delivery in the WACA nets. Warner has been ruled out of the first two ODIs against West Indies later this week
The stocky left-hander was struck on the left thumb by a rising Mitchell Johnson ball and was left in considerable pain. Warner has been replaced in the squad by Usman Khawaja for the first two ODIs, which are at the WACA on Friday and Sunday.
Cricket Australia physiotherapist Kevin Sims said: "David Warner was struck on the left thumb by Mitchell Johnson in the nets. While the fracture is very minor, it is not worth taking any risks.
“The injury will keep him out of at least the next two Commonwealth Bank Series matches against West Indies. We'll assess how he is progressing after that to determine his availability for the remainder of the series."
