World Cup 2007
John Davison (09/05/70)
Canada's leading run-scorer and wicket-taker at the 2003 World Cup, when he scored the fastest century in the competition's history, off 67 balls, against West Indies.
Ashish Bagai (26/01/82)
Also born in India, Bagai is a highly-rated wicket-keeper and determined middle-order batsman. Though his range of strokes is limited, he possesses a temperament beyond his years.
Qaiser Ali (20/12/78)
Barely six months into his international career, Ali has impressed with his fluent strokeplay. Hit 70 in Canada's record ODI total of 292 for five against Scotland in January.
Geoff Barnett (03/02/84)
Another late inclusion by virtue of his first-class cricket commitments in New Zealand, the left-hander has two first-class hundreds and five half-centuries.
Umar Bhatti (04/01/84)
Promising left-arm seamer who has yet to realise his potential on the international stage. Impressed with the new ball in the Tri-series with Netherlands and Bermuda late last year.
Ian Billcliff (26/10/72)
Hard-hitting batsman and good catcher who made a late entry into the team.
Desmond Chumney (08/01/68)
Originally from St Kitts, Chumney has been a regular in the Canada side for a decade. A middle-order batsman capable of explosive hitting.
Austin Codrington (22/08/75)
Took five for 27 with his medium-fast seamers on his one-day international debut against Bangladesh in 2003. A superb fielder and no mug with the bat.
George Codrington (26/11/66)
Another of Canada's elder statesman, Codrington is a capable all-rounder who captained the side on last year's tour of South Africa.
Anderson Cummins (07/05/66)
Veteran West Indian who has the experience of five Test matches and more than 60 one-day internationals on his side. Also plied his trade on the English county circuit with Durham and Surrey. At 40 years of age, past his best, but a vital member of the Canada side.
Sunil Dhaniram (17/10/68)
Vastly experienced West Indian who began his Canada career in 2004. Offers useful runs down the order and bowls tidy slow left-arm.
Ashif Mulla (05/05/80)
A newcomer to the Canada side. Kept wicket during the recent Tri-series with Kenya and Scotland and boasts an impressive strike-rate with the bat.
Henry Osinde (17/10/68)
Experienced right-arm medium-fast bowler who originates from Uganda, Osinde boasts an impressive one-day international strike-rate with the ball.
Abdool Samad (03/05/79)
Samad, who progressed from the Canada under-19 side, is another of a clutch of all-rounders in the senior team. Bowls off-spin and medium pace and can also keep wicket.
Kevin Sandher (16/07/80)
A rarity in the squad in that he was born in Canada, Sandher offers variety with his orthodox left-arm spin. Represented USA Under-19s in his younger days.
