Tamim Iqbal’s unbeaten 69 eased Bangladesh to an eight-wicket win in the first of two Twenty20 internationals with the Netherlands in The Hague.

Chasing 145, Tamim was well supported by opening partner Junaid Siddique and Mushfiqur Rahim, who respectively hit 25 and 37 not out.

The hosts’ 144 for seven was dominated by opener Michael Swart’s 57. He led a recovery from 14 for three, but only two of his team-mates passed 20.
