Broad enjoys County FTI MVP boost

Stuart Broad starred against Warwickshire with 8-52, boosting his position in the County FTI MVP standings in the process
Stuart Broad and Neil Carter were the stand out performers in this week's County FTI MVP earning 52 and 55 points respectively as Nottinghamshire beat Warwickshire by 10 wickets in their LV= County Championship clash at Edgbaston.
Broad took career-best figures of 8-52, while Carter followed up an excellent rearguard 99 not out with a five-wicket haul for the hosts.
The England seamer’s performance means he averages a whopping 44.43 FTI MVP points per championship match, although he has only played four times.
In terms of points average for players who have played 10 or more times, Ryan ten Doeschate leads the way with 19.76, while Carter is third, just behind Adil Rashid, on 15.61.
Rashid remains the overall County FTI MVP leader, although Carter is only two points adrift of him, with a total of 486 points at an average of 15.18.
