Swann top man in England FTI MVP

Graeme Swann has taken 26 wickets across all forms of the game and played a key role in England's NatWest Series win
Graeme Swann, last year’s England FTI MVP, is setting the pace once more in this year’s race.
The off-spinner has opened up a 40-point gap after taking 26 wickets and scoring 104 runs in all forms of the game since the start of England’s triumphant ICC World Twenty20 campaign.
He was the joint leading wicket-taker in that tournament with 10 victims, claimed six more in the npower Test series against Bangladesh, and in the recent NatWest Series against Australia he took 4-37 at Old Trafford and 3-22 at Lord’s, where he also chipped in with 33 off 21 balls. He is currently leading the FTI MVP for the NatWest Series.
Eoin Morgan is Swann’s nearest challenger. The left-hander is ranked third in the FTI MVP for the NatWest Series race after scoring 262 runs in the one-day series victory over the Aussies, including a match-winning unbeaten 103 from 85 balls at the Rose Bowl.
Kevin Pietersen is third overall, having contributed 248 runs in the World Twenty20, when he was named player of the tournament.
Craig Kieswetter is fourth with 360 runs, nine catches and three stumpings in one-day and Twenty20 cricket, while Test and one-day captain Andrew Strauss is fifth.
Sitting atop the race for the FTI MVP for the npower Test Series is Steven Finn, who will come back into the fold against Pakistan after his strength and conditioning programme, closely followed by Jonathan Trott, whose double hundred against Bangladesh at Lord’s remains the highest individual score for England this summer.
