Swann edges ahead of Broad

Graeme Swann's five wickets in the Twenty20 internationals against Pakistan have put him top of the 2009-10 England MVP
Graeme Swann’s bowling performances in Dubai have seen him leapfrog Nottinghamshire colleague Stuart Broad to the top of the England MVP.
Swann took 2-18 and 3-14 in England's two Twenty20 internationals against Pakistan to lead Broad by a solitary point at the start of the tour of Bangladesh.
Broad enjoyed two fine displays against Pakistan, taking 2-23 and 1-24 to keep him in contention ahead of the tour that will decide who prevails.
It looks like being a straight shoot-out between the Nottinghamshire men as third-placed Paul Collingwood failed to make up any ground in Dubai while James Anderson and Andrew Strauss, in fourth and fifth respectively, are not touring.
Kevin Pietersen, last year's overall runner-up, was crowned Twenty20 MVP for 2009-10 after scoring 43 not out and 62 against Pakistan.
