Biography
Samad is a genuine all-rounder: not only is he is an accomplished batsman, but he alternates between off-spin and medium-pace with the ball and is capable of donning the wicket-keeping gloves. He graduated to the Canada senior side after a series of eye-catching displays for the under-19s, and made one appearance in the 2003 World Cup. His finest hour remains scoring a century on his first-class debut, against Bermuda in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup.
