Biography
A left-arm medium-pace bowler and useful lower-order batsman, Ball is among the brightest talents in the country. Described by ECB lead fast bowling coach Kevin Shine as "one of the most mature young players I have met", he made his List A debut for Kent in 2010 before establishing himself as a regular presence in all formats during the following season. He was chosen to lead England Under-19s in their home series against South Africa during 2011 and was also named captain for the tour of Bangladesh in early 2012.
