Adam Wheater
Wheater is an emerging wicketkeeper-batsman who has started to make real progress in the Essex middle-order since his first-class debut in 2008.
A former England Under-19 international, Wheater has had to settle for a position as a specialist batsman due to the presence of experienced gloveman James Foster.
After a successful winter in Zimbabwe in 2010/11, Wheater has not disappointed with a first-class batting average in excess of 40.
