Alexei Kervezee

Kervezee is an attacking batsman who bowls medium pace and plays international cricket for the Netherlands.

He was signed by Worcestershire at the end of 2006, having hit 47 on international debut against Sri Lanka, played in the 2007 World Cup.

Following two quiet seasons, Kervezee enjoyed a run in the first team in 2009 when he also made his Twenty20 international debut in the shock defeat of England at Lord’s in the opening match of the World T20.

In 2010 Kervezee scored 1,000 first-class runs in a season for the first time as Worcestershire returned to Division One of the LV= County Championship at the first time of asking.

He was again consistently impressive with the bat in 2011.
