Biography
The Zimbabwean had the distinction of being rated the number one batsman in the PwC ratings in 2001 after impressing in the Test series against India, when he made 540 runs for twice out. He announced his retirement from international cricket after the 2003 World Cup during which he joined Henry Olonga in protesting against the political regime in his home country.
