Anthony McGrath

McGrath is a no-nonsense middle-order batsman, medium-pace bowler and excellent slip fielder.
After starting his county career with Yorkshire in 1995 at the tender age of 19, he moved through the England ranks, representing the A and Under-19 teams before making his senior debut in 2003.

He went on to feature in four Tests and 14 one-day internationals.

McGrath has been a reliable member of Yorkshire’s line-up, regularly passing 1,000 runs in a season. In 2009, he was rewarded with the club captaincy for a second time, having led the White Rose in 2003, and a benefit year.
