Biography
A talented wicketkeeper-batsman, Brown has established himself as Sussex’s first-choice wicketkeeper when Matt Prior is on international duty. Brown has always shown vast promise, but initially saw his development hampered by being behind Prior and Andrew Hodd in the pecking order. But, with Prior often featuring for England, the youngster usurped Hodd by scoring 504 runs in nine LV= County Championship matches, including a century against Yorkshire at Scarborough, in 2011.
