Biography
The talented batsman was selected for the England Under-19 tour to Bangladesh in 2005 before making his competitive Glamorgan bow. He was a consistent performer during that trip, passing the 40-run mark four times although all 11 matches were lost. He was selected in the 14-man squad for the 2006 Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka and made a half-century in the victory over Ireland which secured England's progress to the knockout stage, where they were eventually beaten by India in the semi-finals.
