Biography
One of the most consistent bowlers in international cricket, Vaas relies on line and length to get his wickets but has the ability to swing and seam the ball to great effect. He took 26 wickets against West Indies in 1994/95 and was the first bowler to take eight wickets in a one-day international - a feat he achieved against Zimbabwe, which included a hat-trick. He took another hat-trick with his first three deliveries against Bangladesh in the 2003 World Cup.
