Biography
A left-handed batsman who can also keep wicket, Dent is a product of Gloucestershire's Academy. He toured Bangladesh with England Under-19s in late 2009 and featured in the U19 World Cup in New Zealand. Having made his senior Gloucestershire debut in 2009, he was an ever-present in the LV= County Championship side the following season - he averaged 25.89 with the bat - after which he signed a new three-year contract.
