Biography
A left-arm seamer who is also capable as a right-handed batsman, Wood has enjoyed a meteoric rise since being given a developmental contract at the start of 2010. Injuries saw him thrust into first-team action sooner than might have been expected, but Wood rose to the challenge to play an important role in Hampshire’s Friends Provident t20-winning campaign with 20 scalps.
