Chris Wright

A tall right-arm seamer, Wright started his career at Middlesex before moving to Essex in 2007.

He proved a solid performer, but moved to Warwickshire on loan towards the end of the 2011 season.

He was excellent during that spell, taking 22 wickets in four matches, and subsequently earned a permanent contract at Edgbaston.

Next year Wright's 62 LV= County Championship scalps made him Warwickshire’s leading wicket-taker as they won Division One. He also took 20 wickets as the Bears were Clydesdale Bank 40 runners-up.

A maiden England Performance Programme call-up represented deserved reward.
