One-time leg-spinning all-rounder Obuya's 13 wickets in Kenya's astounding 2003 World Cup campaign helped to convince Warwickshire he was worth a punt as an overseas player.

That did not work out, and his bowling is very much on the wane. Obuya plays now as a specialist middle-order batsman.
