Biography
Arguably one of the most exciting talents in English cricket, Kieswetter has thrived at Somerset. Long before qualifying to play for England, the South Africa-born wicketkeeper-batsman had been earmarked as a potential star having impressed for his county in all forms of the game. After refusing the opportunity to represent his country of birth, Kieswetter announced himself with gusto in the international game with a century against Bangladesh in just his third knock, having previously impressed for England Lions in a Twenty20 match against the senior side.
