David Brown
David Brown sealed a two-year move to Glamorgan in late 2009 after struggling to break into the Gloucestershire side in the two previous seasons.
The Durham University graduate is a big hitter with the bat and an effective swing bowler.
All-rounder Brown made a stunning Gloucestershire one-day debut against Surrey in 2006 with an impressive 63 not out off just 26 balls.
In 2008 he was one of Gloucestershire's few performers - taking 15 LV= County Championship wickets at 26 and scoring 348 runs at a shade under 35.
But James Franklin's arrival as overseas all-rounder sidelined Brown, and he was released after four seasons, and a year ahead of contract, at the end of 2009.
