David Payne

Payne is a promising left-arm seamer who signed a two-year contract with Gloucestershire in August 2009.

The academy product made his List A debut against Hampshire at Southampton in August that year, impressing against Nottinghamshire a couple of games later in taking 3-10 at Trent Bridge.

Payne, who also featured in the Cockspur Cup Twenty20 finals day in the same season, toured Bangladesh with England Under-19s and took competed in the World Cup in early 2010.

He enhanced his burgeoning reputation with 7-29 - Gloucestershire's best one-day bowling figures - against Essex early in the 2010 season.
