Biography
The West Indies international joined Sussex on a two-and-a-half-year Kolpak deal in June 2008 after impressing on a short-term Twenty20 Cup contract. The athletic seam-bowling all-rounder’s outstanding Twenty20 Cup performance was 72 from 27 balls against Hampshire. Smith burst onto the international scene in 2004 when he smashed a debut Test century from 93 balls against South Africa in Cape Town.
