Biography
Rees played rugby for Wales Under-17s before opting to give cricket his full attention. A left-handed opener, he passed 1,000 first-class runs in successive seasons from 2008, and fell narrowly short of the same landmark in the two campaigns that followed. However, 2012 proved a difficult year for the Swansea-born batsman; in 20 four-day innings he mustered just one half-century.
