Biography
The opening batsman made his Glamorgan debut in 2006 having put in some impressive performances for the second XI. A multi-talented sportsman he has also played rugby for Wales Under-17 and Llanelli Under-21. Rees made 10 championship appearances in 2007 and hit his maiden first-class century against Derbyshire. He also topped Glamorgan’s NatWest Pro40 batting averages. In 2008 Rees topped the county's first-class batting averages with 989 runs at an a shade under 40.
