Biography
Montgomery is a former proessional goalkeeper who represented Coventry, Grimsby and Rotherham before turning his attention to cricket in 2009. A left-arm swing bowler, he repesented Leicestershire and Warwickshire second XIs that summer - he played against Lancashire for the latter - but was later recruited by the Red Rose. He starred in the second XI's progress to the Championship final, and impressed sufficiently to win a professional deal for 2010.
