Biography

Colvin became the youngest player to represent England in a Test match, at 15, when selected to face Australia in the first Test at Hove in August 2005. She was drafted in as England went for an extra spinner on a pitch expected to turn and she made an immediate impact, taking three wickets in Australia's first innings, as the hosts went on to win the Ashes for the first time in 42 years. A member of the Sussex academy, headed by Keith Greenfield, Colvin played under-15 and first XI boys cricket for Brighton College in national competitions.
