Ian Billcliff
Though Billcliff was born in British Columbia in Canada, he learned his cricketing trade growing up in New Zealand.
He represented New Zealand Under-19s briefly after impressing for Otago, but found opportunities hard to come by as he moved to Wellington and then Auckland.
An experienced campaigner, Billcliff was called up to the Canada team in 2001, and he was one of their leading performers with the bat at the 2003 World Cup.
His appearances for Canada have been fleeting in recent years as he still lives in New Zealand, but he was nevertheless a certainty for the World Cup squad in 2007.
