Biography
The Oxford-raised right-arm seamer has established himself as an opening bowler for Northamptonshire in all formats. Brooks, who first played for Oxfordshire in 2004, had been a regular wicket-taker in Minor Counties cricket, and also for Oxford CC in the Home Counties League before earning his first Northants contract in September 2008. He made a sparky first-class debut in Northamptonshire's 2009 tour match against the Australians at Northampton.
