James Cameron

Born in Zimbabwe, the left-handed batsman joined Worcestershire in 2010 after playing grade cricket in Australia.

After admitting his surprise at his rapid development to the county scene, he quickly made an impact at the club, scoring a pugnacious and eye-catching 95 against a formidable Surrey attack containing Chris Tremlett, Jade Dernbach and Stuart Meaker.

Cameron enjoyed an impressive 2011 season in his second year at the club, particularly in the one-day format where he scored 453 runs at an average of 45 in the Clydesdale Bank 40.

He also has experience of international cricket, having represented the Zimbabwe Under-19 team in 2004.
