Biography
Tomlinson finally burst onto the county scene in 2008 after enduring a frustrating time with injuries. He has progressed from Cardiff UCCE through British Universities and the Hampshire Cricket Board before finally getting a chance with the second XI. During the 2003 season he took 6-63 against Derbyshire including a spell of five wickets for nine runs in 37 balls. Tomlinson had few opportunities in the 2006 season, but still took four wickets in his only Championship appearance to prove his potential.
