Biography
Having joined Hampshire in 2002, left-arm seamer Tomlinson enjoyed his breakthrough year in 2008 as he claimed 67 first-class wickets. That impressive haul, which included a brilliant 8-46 at Taunton of all venues, earned Tomlinson the club's player-of-the-year award. Injuries have persistently held back Tomlinson's progress - he missed the entire 2005 season with a back problem - and as a result he rarely features in limited-overs cricket.
