James Tomlinson
Having joined Hampshire in 2002, left-arm seamer Tomlinson enjoyed his breakthrough year in 2008 as he claimed 67 first-class wickets.
That impressive haul, which included a brilliant 8-46 at Taunton of all venues, earned Tomlinson the club's player-of-the-year award.
Injuries have persistently held back Tomlinson's progress - he missed the entire 2005 season with a back problem - and as a result he rarely features in limited-overs cricket.
But, when fit, he is a key figure in Hampshire's attack as he demonstrated with match figures of 7-84 against Warwickshire in August 2011.
The senior bowler at the club in 2012 following Dominic Cork's departure, Tomlinson again impressed with 43 first-class wickets at 26 and was handed a contract extension to the end of 2014.
