Biography
A wily off-spinner by trade, Tredwell signed a full-time contract with Kent in 2002 and quickly established himself as a regular in all formats. Tredwell won a place in the England one-day international squad for the tour of New Zealand in early 2008, but did not play. He helped Kent to championship promotion in 2009, taking 69 first-class wickets, and was rewarded with an England call-up as cover for Graeme Swann on the tour of South Africa.
