Biography

A talented top-order batsman, Vince was the second-youngest player to pass 1,000 runs for Hampshire while still a teenager. Having burst on to the scene in 2009, Vince attracted media attention when he was compared to a young Michael Vaughan by then-Hampshire consultant Duncan Fletcher. The right-hander, capable of shots all around the wicket, made 75 on his LV= County Championship debut against Nottinghamshire and, after representing England Under-19s, returned to the Rose Bowl to replace former England international John Crawley.
