She became the England women's wicket-keeper in 1992, regained her place in the team in 2003 following a year’s absence and is the most successful keeper in the women’s game. She was part of the England squad that won the Women's World Cup in 1993 and also featured in the 1997 and 2000 tournaments before being selected in the squad for the 2005 World Cup in South Africa.
