Kyle Hogg

The grandson of former West Indies spinner Sonny Ramadhin, Hogg is a seam bowler who possesses sufficient talent with the bat to lay claim to genuine all-rounder status.

He represented England Under-19s and was named in the inaugural ECB Academy intake in 2002, but injuries and a host of experienced players at Old Trafford stunted his progress - and prompted loan spells at Worcestershire and Nottinghamshire in 2007.

The tag of one-day specialist continued to hang over Hogg until Peter Moores' arrival as coach in 2009, a year which saw him cement his place in the County Championship side and perform admirably with both bat and ball.

In 2011, he enjoyed the finest season of his career to date, claiming 50 championship wickets at 18.80, including 11-59 against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl, to help Lancashire to a stunning title triumph.
