Made her England debut against India in 2002 and took a wicket as well as scoring 21 in a ninth-wicket partnership of 45 at The Racecourse Ground, Durham.
Also took 2-31 against New Zealand that year in the final of the ODI triangular tournament.
Has represented England at Under 17 and Under 19 level, playing in two European Cup tournaments where she recorded her best bowling figures of 3-8.
Began playing cricket aged 11 with Keighley Under 13 boys' team and first played women's cricket with Yorkshire Under 15 aged 12. Part of the County Championship-winning Yorkshire team of 2001 and 2002.
Featured in the second ODI against New Zealand in 2004 but was not selected in the England squad for the 2005 Women's World Cup.
