Luke Evans

The promising seam bowler made his first-class debut for Durham in 2007 against the touring Sri Lanka A side, taking four wickets in the match.

He made his way through the county ranks and has appeared for the second XI on several occasions, although he did not make a competitive first-team appearance in 2008.

In 2009, with Durham appearing intent on blooding many of their youngsters, Evans made his List A debut, playing one Friends Provident Trophy game while appearing twice in the NatWest Pro40.

A tall, gangly bowler capable of quick spells, Evans signed a one-month loan deal with Northamptonshire a week into the 2010 season.

He made two LV= County Championship appearances for Northants before being recalled early to play in as many Clydesdale Bank 40 games for Durham.

However, he made no more senior appearances that summer and joined Northants on a two-year deal.
