Mark Cosgrove
A burly and aggressive Australian opening batsman, Cosgrove has earned comparisons with Darren Lehmann.
The South Australian, who has played one-day international cricket for his country, had a successful first season at Glamorgan in 2006, when he scored 856 runs in 10 LV= County Championship appearances.
He made 75 on debut for the Dragons in the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy against Ireland, soon after he had struck 74 on international debut against Bangladesh.
Derbyshire then felt the full effect of his power. He made 114 on championship debut at Cardiff against the midlanders, before bludgeoning 233 from 260 balls in the return championship fixture at Derby.
After that county stint, Cosgrove earned an Australia A call-up. He returned to the Australia side in the winter of 2006/07, but has since fallen out of the reckoning.
Cosgrove returned to Glamorgan in 2009 and enjoyed a productive season, including 175 against Surrey in the last championship match, and re-signed for 2010.
