Matthew Askin

Appointed vice captain for the tour of Dubai in February 2012, Askin only started playing cricket four years earlier after his local club chairman encouraged him to try a new team sport. In 2011 he hit his highest score in mainstream cricket - an unbeaten 75.

Previously Askin played football for Aldershot Academy.

Askin teaches PE at Ounsdale High School near Wolverhampton.
