Biography

A dynamic wicketkeeper, Bates was an integral part of Hampshire's domestic t20-winning sides in 2010 and 2012. Bates claimed his third winner's medal with the club in 2012 when he showed nerves of steel to stand up to Kabir Ali's match-winning dot ball in the Clydesdale Bank 40 final.
