Kasprowicz is a talented pace bowler who only played a handful of international matches for Australia in the 1990s before being recalled to the side in 2003. In the summer of 1997 Kasprowicz took 7-36 against England in the final match of the Ashes series at The Oval but he came of age as a bowler on the 1998 tour of India when he found himself leading the attack after several of his colleagues were injured.
