Mike O'Shea

The opening batsman was part of the England Under-19 squad which toured Malaysia and India in 2005 and made a promising start, hitting 64 in the first practice match against an MCA President’s XI in Malaysia.

When the tour moved onto India, O’Shea hit the only century of the trip when he hammered 133 against KSCA XI.

He also made 46 in the third Test but could not prevent a 3-0 series defeat, before England also lost the ODI series 4-1.

O'Shea made his first-class debut for Glamorgan against Bangladesh A in the summer of 2005 and again toured with England Under-19 later that year.

He made a handful appearances for the Welsh county in 2007 but did not feature in 2008.

O’Shea was suspended in June 2009 after being involved in a car crash and later convicted of drink-driving.

He was released that September, having appeared once in the LV= County Championship and twice in both the Friends Provident Trophy and Twenty20 Cup in 2009.
