Biography

A left-arm spinner of immense talent, Panesar burst onto the international scene against India in March 2006. He represented England Under-19 for two seasons after making his debut against Sri Lanka Under-19 in 2000. Panesar made a sensational start to his Northamptonshire career with match figures of 8-131 against Leicestershire in 2001 but struggled to hold down a regular place.
