Biography

Kartik is a talented left-arm spinner, with a high-arm action, possessing all the necessary weapons - the tantalising loop, the ability to extract sharp turn and bounce, and the subtle variations. He was on the fringes of India's national team for some time, but never managed to hold down a regular place in the side. Kartik played for Lancashire in 2006 and impressed enough for Middlesex to offer him a contract for 2007.
