Biography

Best is a slow left-arm bowler who was forced to retire from cricket in March 2015 due to a back injury. He was named in England Under-19s’ squad to travel to Bangladesh in October 2009, assuming the captaincy from Azeem Rafiq midway through the one-day series. The left-arm spinner took 32 wickets in 11 first-class matches for Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridge MCCU, for whom his debut arrived in 2011, while also making 17 limited-overs appearances.
