Biography
Began his career at Sussex and in 1995 he was named the club’s Young Cricketer of the Year. Big things were expected but he struggled to maintain that progress and in 2002 he was released having played just one first-team match. In 2003 he was signed by Derbyshire and made an instant impression, claiming 4-77 on debut against South Africa at Derby during a tour match. His maiden first-class wicket was that of Proteas skipper Graeme Smith. Brother Mark also played cricket and represented Sussex up to Under 19 level. Was released by Derbyshire at the end of the 2005 season.
